Vidalia Onion Dip(Oh My!)

This is the easiest dip ever. But, oh so good! The great thing about this dip is I almost always have everything on hand to make it. Every time I take this dip somewhere, it’s a big hit. Here goes….

1 1/2 cups mayonnaise(I use a reduced fat mayo here, it’s really better, less greasy)
1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups chopped Vidalia onion(any white or yellow onion will do, but Vidalia is the way God intended it)

Mix it all together, pop it into a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes
It’ll brown a little on top and the onions will get tender and the cheese will melt and all will be right with the world.
Take this next time you have to bring a finger food. It’s great with apple slices, toasted bagel slices, or your favorite cracker.
