Playing with textures and Lightroom Presets

May 13, 2010

This week for Pixel Perfect’s Before and After, surprise, it’s a picture of my children.  Shocking, huh?  But, I like ’em.  And they have faces and I have a camera, so there you go.

Sam didn’t make the cut this week.  I figured I’ve had him in your face quite enough lately!  I may not post another photo of him until tomorrow.

This is all I’ve got!  Can’t wait to see what you’ve done! Link up at Pixel Perfect!

I really like both edits. Something I can aim to do when I grow up!

    Have a great day! xxx

You are such a talented photographer.

Alas, I have nothing to link up because I do not have your talents. But, they are all great pics.

I’m always the one with the questions…but how? On the first, is that elements and lightroom, or just elements? The second? Do tell…please?

I know I should just stop buggin all of you for your editing tips and just practice my own, but I seem to always do the same thing. I stay in my box, because I don’t know what else to do.

Still wondering how you get yours to be so warm.

I knew when I saw your name……… would have something amazing to share with us. I was right!

I love what you did with both of them, but the first is my favorite. The angle, the processing, the freckles on the nose… all of it is perfect. Your son in the second photo looks nearly identical to you!

I saw on Mom Loop you were in South Carolina. I am just outside Greenville. The picture changes are amazing.

You know? I have Photoshop and I know what to do since I used to do digital scrapbooking, but now that I blog i rarely do stuff with pictures anymore even on my blog. If I post a pic I never do anything cool with them like I should.

These pictures are inspiring. Thank you.

Wonderful, as always. I’d like to get photoshop and start messing around…but I have no idea what to even do. At all. Everyone says just start playing around with it, but I’m a person who does better with specific instructions!

Very cool! Some day I’ll have to play with editing! Right now, I’m content to post them “as is”, but I like what you did with yours.

Your edits are wonderful! I am really impressed. One of these days you will have to do a little tutorial on how you warm up your pictures. I would love to know!
